| Pack your picnic baskets for a 57 mile 1-1/2 hour drive via the curvy and scenic KY-10 to Augusta, KY for a picnic on the grass by the river. The caravan return trip will leave around 2:00pm and travel 50 minutes on KY-8 and KY-9 to I-275. Feel free to stay as long as you like in Augusta and either travel back with the caravan or take the Ferry ($7) across to Ohio and go back on 52. Please pack a picnic lunch, picnic blanket or folding chairs - if you don't pack a picnic lunch, there are restaurants in the downtown area. We have one planned bio break in Brooksville, KY about 15 minutes before getting into Augusta so you won't have to find a restroom right after arriving. |
| Directions: I-275 to KY-9 South (AA Highway). Right turn on Town Street (2nd Traffic light) - turn left on Crossing Drive and turn right into Regal Cinema parking lot.
Thorntons is good place to fill the gas tank and take a bio-break. |
