| We will meet at the Walmart on Chamber Drive in Milford (good bathrooms) at 9:00 for a 9:30 departure.
The drive is about 90 minutes to Serpent Mound, where we'll spend about 90 minutes in the visitor center and along the paths. PARKING COSTS $8 PER CAR. https://www.ohiohistory.org/visit/browse-historical-sites/serpent-mound/ Afterward, we'll continue southeast to Wheat Ridge and our favorite stop at Miller's Bakery/Furniture/Bulk Goods for lunch - again allowing 90 minutes. After lunch, the route takes us south on Ohio 41 to the Ohio River in Aberdeen and US 52, which we'll use to head west to home. If you choose, we will have "Bail Out" directions at several points after our lunch stop at Miller's. Remember: Empty bladder - full gas tank - FRS radio tuned to channel 7.1. | |
